Applicants should have a basic knowledge of International Residential Code (IRC) or Virginia Residential Code (VRC)and have attended the CORE Course prior to taking this course. The course will include sessions on:
- Identifying components of the plan review path
- Identifying 5 components of the plan review process
- Reading and interpreting the code as it applies to residential plan review
- Writing comprehensive deficiency and outcome statements
