The Virginia Department of Housing & Community Development's (DHCD) Virginia Main Street (VMS) program will hold an Exploring Main Street (EMS) Community Interchange on Tuesday, October 15, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. to provide opportunities for insight, connection, and inspiration within EMS communities across the state. During this virtual gathering, VMS staff will discuss the 2024 EMS Annual Report that active communities are required to complete each year and discuss how this report will help VMS identify how best to support your community's Main Street efforts in the calendar year ahead. There will also be a special presentation from Sandra Tanner, Executive Director of the South Hill Chamber of Commerce, highlighting positive changes happening within the locality and how they're planning for future growth, as well as time to connect and reflect on the great revitalization work that's taking place across all EMS communities.
